Scaleway Object Storage File storage
A serverless container keeps no files between requests, so uploads that have to last belong in a bucket. Scaleway Object Storage speaks the S3 API, so Laravel's own s3 disk works with it.
By Scaleway, France. Brewless sets this up on a deploy.
What Brewless does
A private bucket
A deploy makes the bucket the file names, private, in your own Scaleway project.
A key that cannot do more
The application gets a key that can read, write and remove files, but cannot make, change or remove a bucket.
Public files through the edge
Public files are served at a files address through bunny.net, cdn. and your domain by default, and the application gets it as AWS_URL.
Versions when you want them
With keep_versions_days, a file that is overwritten or removed is kept as an older version for that many days.
What you do
- Name the bucket under storage in brewless.yml.
- Use Laravel's s3 disk; the variables it needs come with the deploy.
- Hand out private files through temporary URLs or a route of your own.

Questions
- Do I need league/flysystem-aws-s3-v3?
- Yes, that is the package Laravel's s3 disk uses; Object Storage needs no driver of its own.
- Can I bring files from S3?
- Yes. brewless storage:import copies a bucket at another provider into the environment's bucket.
